The 15-story hotel features two restaurants, a conference center, gift shop, indoor swimming pool, fitness area and much more. The 252-room hotel is enhanced with Indian crafts and artwork throughout each floor. FoxCor provided program and schematic estimating services from the fall of 1999 to establishing the final budget of $63 million in August 2000. The physical on site construction started September 2000 and the project was fully functioning by June 2002, a 20-month period.

The original scope of work: The project is 315,000 square feet with three distinct areas: A 15-story hotel tower; 30,000 square foot conference center/restaurant area; and a 660-space pre-cast parking garage. The hotel has 244 standard suite rooms averaging 500 square feet which feature marble vanities, dry bars and hand-finished furniture. The eight 1000-square foot suites located at the 15th level are themed from Old English style to a Modern décor. The showpieces of the hotel are two “Cherokee” suites that have rich natural wood furniture and original oil paintings depicting landscapes from the area. The hotel also features 1900 pieces of art from Eastern Band Cherokee Artists only. This is the largest collection of Eastern Band Cherokee paintings and sculpture anywhere in the world.
